(Continued from Page 1) to net as governor of the groat state of Indiana will not make itself noticeable. It has long ago dawned upon the people of Indiana that the acts of the alleged mayor in his peculiar appeal to the voter do not balance up well with the fact that he is dominated by an "ex" professional gambler and one who is now in the spotlight on certain asplialt deals. That never once has the "race horse" owner exhibited any interest in the numerous charges brought against his official family; never took any action in the serious charges placed against his building inspector and seemed to take no in
terest whatever in the price paid for the grounds of the Riley .hospital, although Fred Cline, head of the park board, has been named In a suit in regard to the price of certain property, brings up a most serious question in the minds of the voters in Indiana as to what Limber Lunged Lew would do in the state capitol. People to Learn Definitely Before the election, the people of Indiana will have a chance to ascertain definitely just what kind of men in certain positions, Limber Lunged Low's appointees have been. Limber Lunged Lew has used up much effort in seeing that Protestants were

discharged from the police depart-1 ment. - He has lined himself definitely with that element opposed to Protestantism and is now intending to go forth in the state Into wholly Protestant territory to plead for votes. He will tell the farmer how much he loves them and what-he is going to do for them but he will not tell them that right now, he has within his power the helping of them on the city market and that conditions there are, to say the very least, almost unbelievable. He will not dare tell the farmer who compose the group of men who are behind the movement to make him governor. He has chosen as "his main issue," that of an antlKlan platform. All, of which means nothing. What the people of Indiana want in the governor's chair Is a man who has the business ability to operate the business of the state
and will not sweep into the state house a gang of hangers-on; profes
sional gamblers, former keepers of
notorious resorts such as Captain Glenn, who while crying that he did not have enough men, was a party to letting fifteen Protestants dut of their positions in the police department all at one time. Will Limber Lew take into the state house such men as Inspector Mullin of the police department who was called into the prosecutor's office in regard to a stolen car he was using? Limber Lunged Lew says he is going to take "the boys" with him. Hypocritical Statement

VALUE OF JUNIOR RLAN IS FULLY APPRECIATED
(Continued from Page 1) fled within the short space of two years. As time goes on and the Junior members grow into manhood and become affiliated with the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, there will be a general understanding and the work of keeping America intact and safe from enemies within as well as without, will move with clocklike precision. Many Worthy Acts Prom many points where the Junior Klan has become established the reports of increased Sunday school attendance are received. The organization has been active in aiding in the placing of the Bible in the pub
lic schools. These facts, coupled with many other laudatory acts, have given proof of the high worth of organization as well as the high character of its membership. These members of the Junior Klan, who are the future fathers and mothers of America, and in whose hands our country's destiny will be entrusted, will grow into manhood and womanhood with a staunchness of heart that will be a mighty bulwark against which the waves of alien opposition to things American will beat in vain. These mothers and fathers of that day will have been
trained in Americanism; they will have grown into manhood and womanhood with a fear'and a love of God, and a respect for the laws of our country. These potential leaders of
our country will hold a deep and undying desire that the institutions of America, together with her ideals, will never decay nor be overthrown by foreign influences inside the borders of the United States or outside America. A New Love of Country The generosity and patriotism of the doner of $6,000 to the Junior organization to aid in its growth and

were thoroughly "checked without resulting jn the substantiation of any of the charges filed. ' The suit, the trying of which brought out forcibly the lack of grounds on which it was filed, is but one of the ways in which the enemy is seeking to destroy the Klan organization. The decision, made by an Impartial court after an exhaustive hearing of testimony, completely Illustrates the lack of facts upon which the enemy bases its stories of propaganda framed to "throw discredit upon the officials and to vilify the organization as a whole. 'The decision of Judge Humphries acts as a stinging rebuke to those who, failing by force of slanderous stories to harm the Klan, resort to that practice of using the courts to cast aspersions through the newspapers in "a series of charges"; charges which
are not substantiated in court on
testimony submitted. Mad Course of Futile Efforts
These futile efforts by the enemy
to strike down the forces of Protes
tantism in this country, are wide and varied, and despite the number of times the foe""has been rebuffed in open court where its charges must be substantiated, it continues this mad course. The decision in Atlanta should have a far-reaching effect, but it is doubtful that the foe will heed this rebuke. The decision will, however, be far reaching in that it will con

new love of country which is now
engulfing America through the efforts of the Ku Klux Klan. America
has long felt the coils of alien opposition tightening about her. These coils are now being loosened by the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan while the Junior organization is placing knowledge of the principles on which
our country is founded in the minds of
its members that they might carry on the work and forever stand alert to forestall the enemies of America. That the Junior organization has
met with the highest approval is seen in its wonderful growth and the enthusiasm of its members. Founded upon the undying principles of the founding fathers of our country and upon teachings of the Bible, it stands a nrighty force in America today. Its worth as an organization will be appreciated more and more each year. -Today, in its infancy, its force for good has already been felt. Membership in this organization can but
bring the best to the surface in each single member. The activities of the Junior order are expanding rapidly and the "kind
ness of the donor of the $6,000 will give impetus to its radius of activity. The fact that the organization is self-sustaining and that the donation asked of each candidate is but
tnree dollars, the gift will aid materially in promoting the growth. Parents Praise Organization Scores of parents have voiced praise of the Juniors and have eagerly sought a place for their children within its ranks. The influence of the organization brings out in each member the better qualities, better understanding of those fundamentals on which the Protestant church and America are founded.

50,000 KLANSMEN AT BIG XENIA INITIATION
(Continued from Page 1) The train will leave from Union Stationover the Lake Erie. Many special trains will be run to Fort Wayne in addition to special traction cars. The latter will begin leaving for Fort Wayne at 4 o'clock Saturday morning and at regular in
tervals from then on. Special trains
from Detroit and many other points from outside the state will leave during Friday night. The many Klan bands, drum and fife corps, quartets and glee clubs will arrive in Fort Wayne at an early hour Saturday or will have reached there on thenight before. The line of march for the parade was given out by the Fort Wayne committee and will be as follows: Line of March Forming at Memorial park the procession will move west in Washington street to Monroe, north in Monroe to Berry, west in Berry to Fairfield, south in Fairfield to Washington and east in Washington to Me
morial park, where it will disband. The parade will leave the park at
7:30. The Women of the Ku Klux Klan have donated their services in
decorating many floats for the procession which will be one of the features of the big celebration. It has been announced that the women will have a speaker there for their organization and that they will
hold an initiation of a large class of candidates some time during the day. Every detail has been carefully taken care of and ample parking space for autos has been provided. Traffic rules have been made by which all congestion, it is expected, will be done away with. Scores of traffic police will be on hand to direct traffic. The Fort Wayne members have worked diligently to perfect all plans that will tend to add comfort for the thousands of visitors who will take part in he celebration, which will last all day and far into the night. Many features
have been planned on the long program and there will be something of intense interest going on throughout the entire day and night.

These are facts and every true
American knows them to be facts. Anyone who cares to and does deny them and attempts to Criticize, either is intolerant or is burdened with crass ignorance. It is to be regretted that the editor of the Indianapolis News should fail to review and ascertain facts before using his editorial columns so viciously against a great patriotic body of white Protestant Hoosiers who are his own fellow citizens. . The editor used the editorial as a
vehicle to cast aspersions on the
of interest under his own roof and in those who are near and dear to him, is a poor way to go about the restoration of true "idealism and living standards." In that paragraph, the editor negatively admits that the Ku Klux Klan has "gone about the business of restoring the true American idealism and living standards." The editor chose to twist a statement by the Imperial Wizard that he migit .criticize the Klan ; and then admitted that the Klan is attempting to "restore American principles and living standards." The editor admits that they are not what they once were and in the same editorial criticizes the only great organization that is
fighting.to bring the home back into its own. Klan Protects Home The Ku Klux Klan stands for the home in addition to our country and our God. The Ku Klux Klan knows that America came into her greatness by reason of reverence to God, love of country and preserving the sanctity of the home. This home is that at which the Indianapolis News would cast mud and declare, in substance, that the American should nnttprn his hnmp nftpT" tha Tow

Nothing had been left undone, no detail too small for consideration had passed the mind of the Greene county or-ganizer-in his arrangements for the day. been stationed at the cross roads. The streets were carefully patroled
by traffic squads of motorcycle men, horsemen and corner guards. These men were relieved at intervals throughout the day-and their untir

The Dayton traffic squad of Klansmen handled the thousands of cars
at the fair grounds.
From Many States Tourists from dozens of states stopped in the city for the day. The interurban lines with special cars were unable to care for their passengers. Klansmen from practically every city along the eastern border of Indiana poured into the city by interurban and auto. The Pennsylvania railroad brought into the city thousands of Klansmen on their regular trains and handled three spe-

Special Officer Arrested Whatever inference one might wish to place on this phase of the situation he is perfectly within his
rights in so doing, when it is remembered that one of the first persons arrested in the raids was the leader of the "Purity Squad,'' Special
Officer Vachon. That a fear exists in the hearts of certain citizens in Fort Wayne who belong to the "rum hounds" is seen in the effort to belittle the whole affair. However, these alleged bootleggers, of which more
than one hundred will face Judge Anderson, were arrested on affidavits and evidence furnished by the Klan in its effort to make Fort Wayne a better place to live and a safer place to rear children.
