HLAN HOLDS FISH FRY AT GULF OF MEXICO
Parade at Tarpon Springs Witnessed by Big Crowd Americans Enthusiastic
TARPON SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 13. A large crowd gathered here last Thursday night to be on hand at the Klan parade that had previously been announced and the long line of Klansmen in full regalia that pa
raded through the center of town,
led by the American flag, were
"heartily received. To many, it was their first glimpse of a fully robed Klaneman and the
parade was a bit awe-inspiring to some of the "first nighters." After the parade, a large olass of candidates was naturalized In the initiation ceremonies of the great American order and a fiery cross added its splendor to the scene as the neophytes x rededicated their lives to American principles. Fish Fry at Gulf When the naturalization ceremonies had been concluded, the Klansmen were treated to a fish fry which took place on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Impromptu tables had been erected and the hungry Klansmen got their feet under them in a hurry.
When the enjoyable repast was finished a couple of stirring speeches
on Americanism were given by well known speakers and were enthusias tically received.
