the United States Ship Operators'

KINGSTON MEfflDtf HAS GOOD SPEAKER

KINGSTON, O., Sept. 1. In detail the aims and purposes of the

LKnights of the Ku Klux Klan were

outlined by a Perry county preacher before a large crowd here recently at the first open-air meeting that has been held in this vicinity. A large fiery cross was burned during the speech, after which a large number of men, Kingston residents, signed up for membership in the Klan. The light of the cross attracted large numbers of people who came out to the field from town in automobiles. Preceding the gather

ing several auto loads of robed Klansmen passed through Kingston. Robed Klansmen formed a - guard line around the gathering.

This meeting is one of many that

is being conducted throughout Ross county by the Klan. Many more are

planned in the near future. Candi

dates who sign up at them will be

initiated at a large Klonklave to be held at a later date.

by which the present excessive costs

of maintaining the fleet could be reduced. Before adjournment of the hearing the owners and operators were informed that the shipping board was anxious to make a definite decision on the problem. Must Be Beady to Begin "We have spent considerable time without making great progress to

ward a solution of the government's problem," Chairman Farley said. "If you gentlemen can devise a plan that will be workable, we will give :you additional time, but it must be understood that when you come again the plan you have decided to offer must

be one which you will be prepared to inaugurate should the government accept it."

Klan was held here last week and

several hundred Klansmen were in attendance. About fifty candidates were initiated into the organization. A large number of spectators, who were held at a distance, viewed the ceremonial which was most impressive. Opposition to the Klan is fast dying out in this vicinity as the citi

zens become better acquainted with the principles for which the Klan stands.

Your opportunity to make a few thousand dollars in an honest way is slipping and slipping fast, as many have and are now taking advantage of this one chance in a lifetime to make a raise, and some have already cleaned up thousands. J. O. Henrickson, 7 Broadway, Shelby ville, Indiana, has cleaned up over $10,000 and going right on.

Sweeping Success How do we know that the Noles Water Filter and Double Cooler Combined is a sweeping success? Simply because it is proven beyond all shadow of fcoubt, and backed up

with the strongest proof in the land, and we furnish this proof for the asking. Nothing like it. Water goes through a natural stone with hundreds of thousands of invisible pores, not treated in any way, keeps the water cool, extracts the excess of the deadly mineral substance from any and all city, well or spring water, no matter how clear and harmless it may appear, and leaves

it on top of the stone, right before

your eyes, or the whole outfit is yours without a cent. The deadly mineral substance, eating and destroying the tinware and forming stone substance In the teakettle in

every household m the land, ana they drink the same water, and the same stone substance is carried and found distributed in the body, form

ing stones in the kidneys', gallstones, stones in the bladder, coating and

filling the cavities of the stomach,

destroying the urinary organs and

causing many other complaints.

Curing People How do we know it? Simply be

cause we have their sworn affidavits

galore. The highest proof in the land. Affidavits from living, responsible, well-known people, with

their full name and address, some

thing you never seen done before.

People who gladly held their hands up to God and declared to their

friends, neighbors and the world how

quickly this most marvelous natural stone removed the cause and they

were soon in good health and happiness after years of suffering and after doctors, specialists, springs and money had failed. Sweeping like a

tidal wave. Equal it if you can and claim the standing $100 reward.

Your Chance It soon made me a nice fortune,

but I am 72, all alone and health ruined by flu, and had to give up. Factory and assembling plants run

ning. I decided to now give the

right men, who -have but a few hundred, a chance to rise by leasing out the territory, on the old well-lino wn and honest royalty plan, and I set them up In full-fledged business with a bunch of live, hustling agents under them. You. are the banker and custodian of all money and a big Income. State your reference and amount of good -faith money

above $250.00 in first letter and meet your surprise; but don't take up our time unless you mean business, as

this is a clean, gilt-edge business,
