Friday, December 31 at high noon George W. Scott will close his hooks as Recorder of Jasper county and prepare to turn the office over to his successor, Warren E. Poole. #o county officer has ever served in this county with more efficiency and at the same time been so courteous and accomodatipg to the public as Mr. Scott His faithfulness to the trust in him reposed by the people per county has given him a staffing that assures his future success in whatever capacity he may serve the people in this community.
