James Rice is home from Rensselaer school on the sick list. J. R. Mulder went to Chicago Monday for a few days’ visit with his son, Roberts and family. Wm. Boyle attended the play “A Fool For Luck” at Wheatfield Sunday evening. Dr, Bassett of Goodland has been named as county health officer to succeed the late Dr. McCann. The trustees for the new county hospital have been named and will have charge of the construction work. The trustees are J. T. Hameton and Mathew Moran of Goodland, Paul Weishaar of Brook and A. B. Tolin of Colfax township. Merry Christmas.
