Rantoul, Illinois December 9, 1920. Mr. L. H. Hamilton, Editor of the Republican, Rensselaer, Ind. Dear Sir and Brother:— I looked at the label on my paper and I find that I had better inclose check for $2.00. I. am getting along fine these days. Our company is finishing up a job of potting up 23 hundred feet of cable. This puts us in igood shape for the winter. I have not been in your beloved .city since the Republicans ■had an election) and 1 did not notify .the-Democrats, but from what I see in your paper it looks as though the people over there and everywhere are well pleased. I will send you a clipping from our local paper which gives an account of the doings at the field. This will of course increase our business quite a little.
