AGRICULTURAL NEWS.

Marion Towa*bip Meeting. Mie Marion township federation met Tuesday evening, ■ November 30, for B business session. Some forty members were in attendance. The most important business was that of adopting the constitution and bylaws for the township. The question of the office of the treasurer being held by the president of the county organization was brought up. It was decided that the beat interests could be served by selecting both a treasurer and a secretary. On the resignation of th* secretarytreasurer, Mr. Sage was elected treasurer and Mr. Ed < Lane was elected secretary. Keener Township Meeting. The Keener township federation meeting was held December 1, at which many important matters were brought up and voted upon. There was a large number of members in attendance and they showed a great deal of interest in co-operationg for the best interests of agriculture. Jordan Township Mooting. The Jordan township federation meeting which was to have been held Friday evening had to be postponed on account of sickness in that township. / Corn and Poultry Show. The corn and poultry show will be held the second week in January and it is hoped that many exhibits will be on display at this show. There is no reason why the farmers of Jasper county cannot make one of the largest shows of this kind ever held in Jasper county.
