TO HAVE NEW BANK BUILDING

Knightstown Banner. • The National City Bank, Indianapolis, of which L. P. Newby, of this place, is vice-president, let the contract Thursday last to a New York contractor for a new bank building to be erected on East Washington street, which is to cost over $1,000,000. The building which is to be a fourteen story structure with basement, is to occupy ground 212 x 40 feet in dimension. The- new building is to be completed by the first of December, 1921. The bank proper will occupy the entire first floor and basement. L. P. Newby is an uncle of C. G. Newby of this city.
