HALF OF JURY TO BE WOMEN
Judge Philip C. Gould of the Vanderburg county circuit court at Evansville has announced that it is his intention to instruct the jury commissioners, who appear before him next Monday to see that onehalf of the prospective jurors for 1921 are women. “Women, now that they have suffrage, should share one-half of the responsibilities of citizenship in their community,” said Judge Gould. “I see no reason why they should not be called for jury service, providing they can qualify as either householders or freeholders.”
