One day I went to a ■ new grocery end the clerks were all busy, so the proprietor bustled up to me. He was extremely affable, so I had no hesitation in asking him who printed the sign in the window—it was poorly printed and some of'the words were mispelled. “Why?” he asked. "Whoever made it didn’t know how to spell,” I replied, grinning. "I made the sign,” was all he said, but It' was enough. I turned hastily away.—Exchange.
