C.F- Vandewator of California and Aid Killed in Auto Wreck Congroosman Garland Ole*. Pomona, Cat, Nov. 22.—Congress-man-elect Charles F. Vandewater, a Republican of Long Beach, OaL, and bis secretary. Miss Jammess Leuvln, of Long Beach, were killed at Walnut. 12 miles from here, when the automobile in which they were riding strode a motor truck. Washington, Nov. 22.—Congressman Mahlon M. Garland of Pittsburgh, a Republican representative at large from Pennsylvania, was found dead In the bathroom of Ms home here. Death was due to heart disease.
