WILL EAT TURKEY THANKSGIVING DAY
John Southard of Milroy township was in Rensselaer today. He still has a broad smile over the result of the recent election and is exceptionally proud of the record of Milroy township, which went for Harding better than two to one. Mr. Southard is the Republican chairman of that township and deserves great credit for the showing made by his party in the township. Whether it is to celebrate the election or the home coming of their children Mr. and Mrs. Southard are planning on a big time Thursday and the big turkey gobier has been selected and will in due time be prepared for the Thanksgiving feast. Their three children will sit with them at the heavily laden dinuer table and it will be occasion of joyful family reunion. The three children are Mrs. Frank Cinson of Monticello, Mrs. Walter Gilmore of Milroy township and Miss Belle Southard, of Rensselaer, who is assistant county treasuner. But this is not all. A newly married granddaughter is to be present with her brand new- husband. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vinson of Monticello and the groom is Benjamin Kane, a prominent Monticello business man. The father of the bride is the auditor of White county.
