WILL CELEBRATE ON SATURDAY
BIG DEMONSTRATION TO BE HELD HERE TO JOLLIFY VICTORY. r __ X, , *- Extensive arrangements have been made to hold a suitable jollification in this city Saturday. This is to be a Jasper County affair and every Republican in the county can feel that it is his * celebration. Never was there a more important election held* in this or any other country and never was the right side ever more fully and completely endorsed. , „ The election decidecLthat we shall continue to hold sacred the national constitution, that no flag shall float above "Old Glory” and that the internationalist is just as dangerous as the anarchist. It means that America with all that is sacred in
its laws and institutions, has with- | stood an assault from within but that it has triumphed. Let’s celebrate, Republicans! Let’s show the Muck-rakers and the Slanderers that they dirtied their own souls but failed to even soil* the hem of the garment worn by the candidates whom they would injure, by malice and misrepresentation. It was a great victory for the Republican party but a.greater victory for America, the American constitution and for the vital laws and principles of a people who jealously guard their sacred liberties. There will be a parade, fireworks, glee clubs, brass bands, fife and drum corps and other features incident to a celebration of the winning of the greatest political victory known in the history of the Republic. . 1 See the big advertisement in Thursday’s Semi-Weekly and Friday’s Evening Republican, also large hand bills. ’ Bring along your neighbor. Let’s go. AMERICA FIRST. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Hollingsworth left for Miami, Fla., today where they will spend the winter.
