Alvin Swaim returned today to his home in Buchanon, Mich. W. J. Wright, Jr., spent the day in Chciago. W. C. Lutes went to Monon for a visit with Catherine RoMhs’today. The Revr-D. A. Rodgers of Star City was in Rensselaer today. * Mike Wolfe of Keener township was in Rensselaer Friday. • James Blake and Milton Julian of Remington were here Friday. Simon Thompson and Floyd Meyers went to Chicago today to see the Chicago-Iowa„ football game. Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Potter and three children of near Kniman were in Rensselaer today. Elizabeth Ryan, of Hammond, came today for a visit with relatives near Mt Ayr.

Mrs. D. S. Baier accompanied her mother to her borne at North Ver•non today for a visit. Robert Bachlier and daughter, 'Mary, of Remington, went to Elgin, Illinois, today for a week’s visit. Mia. J.
