INFORMATION OF AUTOISTS.

Chas. P. Root, Field Secretary for the Chicago Motor Club, who has completed logging the road from Chicago to Los Angeles, gives the following summary of road conditions: Illinois: Roads fair to bad. Iowa: good for the better part; all good m eastern two-thirds and bad from McCook west. Colorado: fine. New Mexico: rather tad, except in spots. Arizona: fine in eastern part, not good in western part. QaKf arma: bad spots in desert, but boulevard after crossing the mountains. Where the roads are designated good, the assumption is that the tourist takes his trip before the rains set in, as most of these roads are dirt i Motorists are advised to carry travellers’ cheeks rather than currency.
