Charles Dexter and i family of Chicago also motored here and spent the day with Mr. and । Erma'l Hoover returned from the i Ohio state last week where he bought an 80-acre farm all improved. The Ray Roland sale, which was held Monday, whs well attended. Mr. Roland expects to move in two weeks if possible. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hoover and two sons of Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wacknits spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ennal Hoover. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stevens and Mrs. Robert Johnson and daughter, Della, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Johnson of near Rensselaer. One of the wont fires that has been known for years has been burning in the marsh and the vicinity near by on all sides for the past week and many people have had to fight it to keep it from burning homes and crops. llr. and Mrs. Fred Roby and son, Demon. S were called to Reynolds Saturday evening on account of the sudden illness of the former's mother. They returned Sunday night. Mrs. Roby’s condition was better at that time. Sunday * farewell dinner was given by the relatives at the E. C. Williams home for the Charles and Will Robinson families who are moving to Ohio this week. Those present were, Mr. and Mrs. James Stevens, daughter Virgie and son Charles, Mr. and Mrs. Meade Rayburn and children, Mr. and Mn. Guy Faris, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Williams and son. Dayton, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Freshour, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Freshour and son Ervin and the E. C. Williams family. .
