CAPT. J. L. HAGINS ENJOYS REUNION
Capt. X L. Haems returned Sunday from Seymour where he had attended a reunion of his comrades of the Civil War. This was a gathering of the venerable veterans of the Fourth Indiana district and was held on October 7. Department Commander Judge Mcßride was present and made an address. The Rev. W. H. Hickman of Greencastle, who was an officer in Capt Hagins* company, which was Co. K, Bth Indiana Cavalry, was present also and made a .very interesting address. Capt Hagins was horn in Kentucky, but came to Indiana when but six years of age. He lived at Seymour for a number of years and when but sixteen enlisted in the Northern army from that P^ 6 -. there. He is thinking of purchasing this residence and making *t his home. This the people of Rensselaer would regret to have our delightful friend do. The captain has four cousins Uving in Seymour. r
