THIS WAS A REAL LONG DISTANCE CALL
Mrs. L. H. Hamilton received a telephone call at an early hour this Wednesday morning. Upon answering the ’phone she learned to her great joy that it was her son, Fred*, who was speaking. The latter was in Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Hamilton was ableto hear him as plainly as if he were only a few miles away. Fred informed her that he couldn’t resist calling as it had been so long since he had heard her voice, and also inquired as to when she expected to leave for California to visit he and his wife. Mrs. Hamilton will leave here the latter part of the month and will spend the winter in California. *
