Mr. and Mrs. Dan Farney of Wolcott were visiting here on Tuesday and are leaving for the State of New York where they are going to make an extended visit at the former’s old home* Mrs. Earl Sullivan and Mrs. W. Zimmerman were Logansport visitors on 'Thursday. Mrs. Hughes, who has been cared for at the home of her aunt Mrs. f Munce Stokes the past several weeks, was able to be removed to her own home last Sunday evenMrs. Homer Spinnard, who, was 'operated “upon for tumor at the St Elizabeth hospital .in Lafayette last week is in a very serious condition. Her many friends are hoping she will fully recover. Mrs. Spinnard has been poorly for some time. The twenty year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Troxel is at the hospital in Lafayette in a critical condition and small hopes are entertained' of his life. The lad was returning from Monticello on .Sunday evening when he met with the accident, being thrown out of the auto on his head, sustaining .a fractured skull. On Tuesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth hospital he was operated on in the hope of bringing him opt of* the unconscious state in which he has tain since the dreadful accident. The boys’ father was in New York state when this oe-. curred. ? ~ , , । Mr. Frank Kuboske, who has been quite sick the past several weeks, remains but/little improved. ■
