How- 1 ever, returns from outside of Cook county show remarkable gains for Oglesby for governor and McKinley for senator, the two latter 'being anti-Thompson candidates. “Uncle Joe” Cannon of Danville is renominated. J. Hamilton Lewis, is the democratic nominee for governor. Michael Igoe has defeated Maclay Hoyno for the nomination for State** Attorney.
