‘ j. J. Hunt went to- Monticelk* today. J. L. Moore of Racine, Wis., is here for a week-end visit with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Moore. Home run No. 48 went over the garden wail in Cleveland Friday, the JJoduci of “Babe” Ruth’s bludgeon. Mrs. J. R. Umphress returned to her home today, in Peterson, lowa, after an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. Don Warren. Mr. and Mrs. Levi Clouse went to Omaha, Neb., today to visit their son, Weyne Clause, and wife. Mrs. Wayne Clouse is in a very critical condition. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoover have returned to their home here from Battle Creek, Mich., where Mr, Hoover went some time ago to take treatments. Mrs.- Gwin Thomas will sing at the Methodist Church Sunday morning. Mrs. Leslie -Clark's section of the Ladies’ Industrial society will entertain the society on next Wednesday. The English hotel at Indianapolis wiH close its doors on November 30th. For it was the leading hotel of the Indiana Capital.
