The Republican received a fine basket of fruit this Tuesday morning, the gift of Mrs. Charles W. Platt. The basket contained pears, grapes and apples and all were of fine, quality, the grapes especially being of a quality seldom found in this state and rivaling those found in California, a state noted for its fine fruit.
