WILL TOUR THROUGH EAST BY AUTOMOBILE

Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Sears, son and daughter, of Aurora, 111., and Manda Hoyes, of Indianapolis, came Saturday for a short visit with Mrs. Hester Hoyes and family, Mrs. Sears and Miss Hoyes being daughters of Mrs. Hoyes. Mr. Sears is the manager of a very important Aurora manufacturing establishment. Sunday, this party left for a tour through the east. Among the cities they will visit _are the national capital, New York City, Boston arid Niagara Falls. Benton Kenton of Goodland, but until thirty years ago a resident of this city, a son-in-law of Mrs. Hester Hoyes and a brother-in-law of William Nowels spent last week here with relatives and friends. Mr. Kenton remembers' many of the old residents of this city, a large part of whom have long since passed on to their reward. He spent a most delightful week visiting with many he had formerly known, and with them recalled many pleasant memories of earlier days.
