OBITUARY.
Sarah A. Fix, daughter of Jacob and Mary Fix, was bom at Reading, Pa., June 27, 1847, and died Augukt 23, 1920, at Rensselaer, Indiana, aged 73 years, % one month and 26 days. , . She was united in marriage to Henry Mackey December To this union were born seven children, all but two having preceded her to the better, world. She leaves to mourn their loss two sons, William H. and Gfover C., of Rensselaer; two brothers, Lawrence Fix, of Attica, Ind., and Franks Fix, of Battle Ground, Ind., and six grandShe was a kind- and loving mother and a strong believer in God. She united with the United Brethern church in early youth, and after coming to Rensselaer became ■ a member of the Christian church. The Great Father prepared a home for her in that better land from which human power could not save her. A general Ijreakdown on account of her advanced age was the ba use of her being called away from those who loved her. - The funeral was conducted by the Rev. J. B. Fleming Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty at the res l * dence in the east part of town. The remains were laid to rest in Weston cemetery beside the grave, of her husband who preceded her in death eighteen years ago.
