PARR VISITTED BY ROBBERS WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Parr, the iU-fated village' seven miles to the northwest of Renkse laer, was visited by robbers, traveling in ah automobile, some time Wednesday night or early this Thursday morning, who made away with several ) hundred dollars worth of merchandise and a small amount of money. Every business place in the hamlet was visited by. the robbers. The exact amount lost by the merchants has not been determined. < The places visited were the Estel Myers store, the postoffice, depot and the ’’Uncle” Billy Myers restaurant. At the Myers store automobile tires, valued at $l5O, were, included in the merchandise taken by the intruders. - Stamps and a small sum of money comprised the loot at the post office and money and dynamite were secured at the depot. No trace of the robbers has beetj found. ’ Parr appears to be the hard luck town of this territory, a costly fire, which destroyed most of the business section, having occurred there a few weeks ago.
