Dr. Joseph Jeffries and Attorney Emmet Laßue are now located in the Long-Bank building. Dr. Jeffries occupying the rooms just to the north of those occupied by Attorney eopold, which are the front rooms on the south. Mr. 'Laßue occupies the । last suite on the north. The firat floor room on the north in the new {addition will be occupied by P. W. Clarke’s jewelry- store about September 1. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Merritt and daughter, Mildred, of Remington went to Chicago today, Mr. Merritt reports that the Remington Grocery Company has purchased of J. W. Hamilton and Son, the grocery store formerly owned by Mr. Merritt in Remington. Mr. Hamilton ,has returned to his former position । with the C. W. Peck departmeift store. The new grocery company is composed of some forty people, with the following officers: President, C. W. Merritt; James Washburn, vice president; Daniel Biddle, secretary-treasurer; and Howard Wood, manager. .
