Sam Noland and wife took Sunday dinner with O. E. Nolands. . Harry Rishling and famfly spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Freeman of near Moody. Miss Pauline Holmes of Monon took supper Saturday evening with F. L.'Overton and family. Quite a number of people from around here attended camp meeting at ~ Battle Ground Sunday. Roy Stires and family visited Saturday and Sunday with Harold Lemar and family of Lafayette. John Hoover of Madison county is spending a few days with his cousins, Mrs. H. C. Anderson and Mrs. Rebecca Jacks. , _ F. L. Overton and family, S. B. Snedeker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Warren and Cora Noland spent Sunday in Lafayette. George* Anderson, who was helping thrash at Dwight Larges Monday, got his arm caught in the belt of the machine. Bas arm was broken. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lefler and daughter, Frances and Mr. and Mrs. Joe’ Clark and son, Ralph, started Wednesday in the former’s car for Pennsylvania where they will visit relatives and friends.
