The little son of Wm. Hurley is quite sick with bowel trouble. Mrs. Ulyatt, from Brook, is visiting Mrs. Vern Michal this week. John Flatt, the hustling insurance agent, made' a business trip here Saturday. ' , Born, Aug. 4, a daughter to Delos Pass and wife. Dr. Norby was in attendance. , Miss Florence Schreiner of Wheatfield is staying at the Wm. Nuss home this week. . Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Barnes, of Rensselaer, spent Sunday with Mrs. Wylie’and family. , _ . Mrs. E. Rudelius and son, Cari, of Hammond, spent Monday with Miss E. Alexander. - James Miller of Kempton, HL, came Friday to visit his tenant, Ernest Tomlinson. Clarence Grabe of Chicago, spent the week end with his cousins, Frank and Lee Meyerp. The dance at the hall Saturday night was one grand Success. Another will be held next Saturday night. . -Miss Alevena Pippe and friend motored from Valparaiso Saturday evening and visited Mr. and Mrs. John Middlekamp. • _ .
