News over the teacups travels faster than over the wires. There are some people who study 111 their lives, and at their death they have learned everything except to think. Self-control and faith are not only strength to their possessor; they also enable him to Impart strength to others. He who can heroically endure adversity will bear prosperity with equal greatness of heart, for the mind that cannot be dejected by the former is not likely to be transported with the latter. The man with the ten talents could probably have taken care of those of his fellow servants as well; then there would have been no loss, but also there would have been no use,for the other servants. Genius Is not a single power, but a combination of great powers. It reasons, but it is not reasoning; It judges, but It is not judgment; imagines, but it is not imagination; it feels deeply and fiercely, but it is not passion. It is neither because it is all.
