As men;- you would scorn to insult a woman —or intreat one—to say aught which is unbecoming or unmannerly to one of the gentler sex—” He paused, with an angry glance at the back of the court, where there was a sudden disturbance. Then he shrank back as a stern-looking woman faced him coldly.; “And' only this morning,” she said loudly, "that man called me a meddlesome old cat!"
