COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET MONDAY

The regular monthly session of the Jasper county commissioners will be held Monday. \ .. This promises to be quite a busy are a number of bridges to~be let, and under the new primary law an inspector and. clerk must be appointed to serve in each of the twenty voting precincts of the county at the registration of voters on September 4 and October 4. These appointees are made upon the recommendation of the two county chairmen of the * Republican and Democratic committees. Frank Welsh of Jordan township is the Democratic chairman and Attorney Moses Leopold of Rensselaer is the Republican chaiman. ’ The board wall also make a new appointment on the county hospital board in the place of Louis H. Hamilton, who will resign to accept a place on the Rensselaer school b °Under Be law* the county tel hoard is composed of four members, not more than two of anypolitical party and not more than two may be residents of the corporation in which the hospital is located. The splendid service being rendered by the hospital has created an almost unversalsentjment m favor of doubling the capacity of that institution. AH thatis needed is for someone to make the initiatory move and the needed additional care for our sick in this humanitarian way will be supplied.
