Mr. Carl Neier, of Omaha, visited relatives and friends here, a few days last week, returning last Monday. Carl/was looking good. I Mr .and Mrs. Daniel Myers arc entertaining relatives from the central part of the state. The Brown brothers are training their red auto for a racer. They expect to so increase its speed that lightning will appear slow in comparison. Mr. and Mrs. Dillman were callers at the Atchinson home last Sunday. According to the. boys, the boss carpenter done some fancy telephoning while in Ohio. Quite a few of our county politicians are getting tuned up for campaign orators. We suppose their efforts will be something fearful and wonderful; < The oats in thia parts look exceedingly well and the corn is holding out great promise to the farmers, If you wish, you can lay this on the Democratic party.
