In former days when a fan caught a foul ball hit into the stand his neighbors used to yell “Sign him!” Today they holler "Keep it!” Baseballs cost the magnates $2.50 apiece, we understand. Yet some think nothing of pocketing a ball when they’d hesitate over pinching a necktie in a drygoods stores. The principle is the same.
