Frank Smith and family of Roselawn were here the sth. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Gorman were Rensselaer visitors last Saturday. John Behles is the new mechanic at McNei.’s Ford service station here. A.. W. Demarah of San Pierre was a business visitor here last Friday. A. L. Jensen and Martin Harrington were Valparaiso visitors last Friday. I Mr. and Mrs. Walter Darner of Harvey visited here-last week until after the Fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mutchler motored Saturday to Peotone, 111., for a visit with her home folks. George Hoehn, Sr., and family motored here Sunday for a visit over the Fourth with the boys. Mrs. W. C. Schivier and daughter of Kpox came Monday to visit her mother, Mrs. Samantha Tilton and family and spent the Fourth. . John W. Tilton and family of Rensselaer attended the 4th of July celebration and visited relatives here. At KonOvsky’s hall, DeMotte, Indiana, Saturday evening, July 10th, 1920, dancing, 9:00 p. m. to 1:00 a.’m. Good time assured you and all. Music, Curtin’s three-piece orchestra. Come where the crowd comes. James Going and daughter, Fern, and Mr- Frost motored here from ana ' visited relatives. Mr. Frost went sometime ago to Wabash sanitarium for treatment and will remain on the farm with his son Paul and family. Uncle Bill Meyers came to town last Sunday, like he does everyday in the week, and when Bill seen that the new telephone polls have been moved out m the street he hitched his Dort to the biggest post with a strong wire cable.
