Mrs. John R. Phillips, who had been on the sick list, is improving. Charles Ferguson and family were Sunday guests of S. C. Swisher of Reynolds. Ray Bore and family visited with friends in Anderson the latter part of last week. Lon Stroupe had company from Kersey Sunday., Mrs. Ray Herr was taken to the hospital Sunday. Mrs. Charles Lefler and daughter of Lee were guests of Gifford Marrs and family Wednesday. Cherry picking seems to be the order of the day around here. There was a large crowd at church Sunday evening and the music was fine. Wonder if we may have the same music in two weeks? The Ladies’ Aid will entertain their husbands at the home of Mrs. S. E. Cook the Saturday evening in July. y" Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cochraif and son, Harry, were at the F. T. Ringeisen home near Mt. Ayr Sunday to see little Gerald, who had his arm broken. Mrs. Van Wood of Rensselaer spent a few days with her mother, Mrs. J. R. Phillips this week.
