WALKER TOWNSHIP.
John Pettet and wife were Kniman callers Thursday. Miss Alice Meyers was a Rensselaer caller Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Garrett called at A. P. Huntington’s Tuesday. Inabelle Williams of Crown Point spent the week-end with Miss Alice I Meyers. „ ~ . , Mrs. Karch of Wheatfield visited Mrs. Lee Jennings a few days last week. , ~ Mr. Barrett of Chicago spent the week-end on his farm in Walker township. A number of people from Walker Center attended the eighth grade commencement at Kniman Thursday evening. John Thurston and wife and Mrs. Groves, Mrs. Bridgeman’s mother,
spent the week-end with Clarence Bridgeman’s. Mrs. Will. Stallbaum’s mother, Mrs. Lacky, of Medaryville, visited her Thursday. Mrs. Frank Hershmans daughter, DolKe, from St. Louis, is visiting her this week. Marvin and Myrtle Jennings were taken to the hospital in Rensselaer to have their tonsils and adenoids removed. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Johnson of Georgetown, on a trip to Chicago, stopped over Sunday at Mrs. J. J. Tomlinson’s, her grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Lilly and son, Lester, and Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Huntington were business callers in Rensselaer and Mt Ayr Tuesday. The Victory club met with Mrs. Ernest Tomlinson Wednesday in an all day meeting and an enjoyable time was had by all. The next meeting will be held at Mrs. 3. & Tomlinson’s. on July 7. Mrs. J. J. Tomlinson and son, Will and Clarence Weaver, Mrs. (Tomlinson’s grandchild, who are visiting her from Earl Park, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tomlinson and daughter, Mary, took dinner with A. P.
