LOUISIANA TURNS DOWN SUFFRAGE

Baton Rouge, La., June 15.—A1l possibility of action by the _ Louisiana legislature to enfranchise women of the nation before the November elections was removed today, the house voting down, 67 to 44, the federal ratification resolution and then adopting in quick order, 60 to 39, a resolution flatly opposing federal suffrage. ■ _ The federal ratification resolution failed in the senate last week.
