French Lick, Ind., June 13.— When asked for an expression today on the Republican presidential nomination-, Thomas Taggaret, Democratic nominee for senator from Indiana, said: “If the Republican party should be successful in electing a President this fall, which I tor Harding would be my Ant choice. While serving a short term in the United States Senate I became acquainted with Senator Harding, and in my judgment, when it comes to brains and ability he is the peer of any Republican in that party. Mr. and Mrs. Roy D. Slear and Mrs. F. Arthur Rianhard, of Williamsport, Pa., came Sunday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Rowles.
