FARMERS’ FEDERATION.

Jasper county, the second largest county in the state, ranks first among the rest in its agricultural pursuits and problems not only of a farm, township, and county nature, but .world wide. The state and national affairs are ours, and many of these present vastly important affairs, such as the rail roads, coal shortage, live stock shipping, food stuffs,-And labbr conditions are vital to ouf progress in agriculture. It is these problems that the farmers as a unit are going to better and help adjust. Our county is one pt last to have a Farmer Federation in‘ which to aid the state and (Pation in putting a> ban on many of erywhere over our land of the free. Farmers in every township haVe told the county agent that they wished Jasper county would organize as soon as possible. The state federation men wish we were organized right now in to help them in every way. We have set Saturday, June 12, at 1:80 p. m. as the day in which we are going to meet in the court house at Rensselaer and do our brat in perfecting a County Farmers Federal Organization. H. C. Reed, representing the state federation, will be here to help us. Make yourself a comnutte of one to come and bring others. It is your business as well as the other fellows to help put thia over the top.
