TENNIS ORGANIZATION HAS BUSY SEASON AHEAD

The Rensselaer Tennis Association is busily engaged at the present time in preparing for the coming season and the court in Milroy Park has been put in splendid playing condition through the efforts of President W. J. Wright and Dr. I. M. Washburn, for several years the cream of tennis players in Rensselaer’s tennisdom. Several loads of clay were placed on the court Friday and the court rolled. The backstops have been overhauled and the grass clipped, giving the court a very pretty appearance. A great number of players have already enrolled themselves on the Association’s roster. A playing schedule will be arranged shortly and many hard fought games are promised during the summer. The annual tournament to determine the city champion in senior and junior divisions will be held in August. The officers of the organization are plan taking under advisement the scheduling of games with nearby towns.
