GEORGE MARTIN, MILROY RESIDENT, DIED TUESDAY
George Martin, aged about seventy years and for many years a respected citizen of Milroy township, died shortly after noon Tuesday following a stroke of paralysis. The stroke which resulted in his death was the third that he had suffered, the first coming several months ago. Mr. Martin had been able to perform his daily duties and had worked on Monday. The stroke came about two, o’clock Tuesday morning, and he sank rapidly until death. The deceased is survived by his wife and fourteen children, and his death was the first to occur in the family. Five of the children reside in this city, Mrs. Jesse Heath, Mrs. Elmer Brenneman, Mrs. Frank Eldridge, Mrs. Noah Arbuckle and Mrs. Joseph Moosemiller. Other children living outside of the county and at home are, Mrs. William Carmony, Mrs. Alfred Ashby, Mrs. Thetis Ray, Louis, Thelma, Hillis, Leia, Helen and Orabelle. The funeral services will be held at the late residence Thursday afternoon at two o’clock, and will be conducted by the Rev. E. W.Strecker. Interment will be made in Weston cemetery. a
