Great Britain’s Whites and Blacks.

In thp British empire there are 62,000,000 white and 376.000.000 colored people. The 62,000.000 white represent capital wealth amounting to $500,000,000,000, as against the $5,000,000,000 possessed by the black, brown and yellow peoplp. The degree of illiteracy among the white people, according to Sir Henry Johnson, is probably not more than 15 per cent; among the colored races it is nearly 90 per cent.
