G. A. R HOLDING 41ST ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT
Bloomington, Ind., May 25.— Members of the G. A. R. woman’s relief corps, ladies of the G. A. R., Sons of Veterans and Daughters of Veterans are here in great numbers tonight for the forty-first annual G. A. R. state encampment which opens tomorrow. Five bands provided an abundance of marital music this evening. The city is gaily decorated in honor of the veterans and their families. It is estimated that 2,500 persons will participate in the parade tomorrow. Indications point to great rivalry over the election of officers in each* of the organizations and over the naming of the 1921 encampment city. Four cities are in the race for the honor, Fort Wayne, Kokomo, Marion and Hammond. Each has a large quota of boosters here.
