Eaton * Rouge, La., May 20.— With adjournment of the legislature today until Monday and with no committees appointed, it TO evident tonight that there would be no definite action on the suffrage .amendment before June. yo™mittees probably will be appointed Monday and the suffrage fight will be transferred to them and then to the floors of both bouses. Leaders of both sides continue, confident of ultimate victory in the senate. The lower house is known to favor ratification.
