“ALL A MISTAKE," SAY PARTIES IN QUESTION

“It was all a mistake,’’ say the parties in question, referring to Hie article in Friday’s issue of the Republican which stated that a married woman of this city had run away with another man. “The reports nave been grossly exaggerated” is the way the husband of the woman puts it, “and I found upon investigation that there was nothing wrong.” In explaining the affair, the husband states that hia wife wished -to attend a family picnic, and, fearful that he would not let her go, hired an automobile to take her to the home of her brother, and that she had no intention of running away with Hie driver of Hie car.^ A reconciliation has been reached between all parties concerned, thus permitting the city to return to its normal state of mind, we go in search of another upheaval.
