BANQUET PLANS BEING MADE
ANNUAL ALUMNI BANQUET PROMISES TO BE MOST BRILLIANT IN YEARS Plans for the annual Banquet given by the Rensselaer High School Alumni Association to the graduates of the High School are well under way and the affair • promises to be the most brilliant social event of the season. The Ladies of the Christian church are to serve the banquet and the Gardner orchestra of Lafayette, which is considered one of the best in the state, has been engaged to furnish the music for the Banquet and for the dance which rollows. In addition to the customary seating arrangements, a special table is to be prepared for the parents of the graduates. Miss Faustine West has charge of the seating arrangements and those desiring groups at tables are to see her in order that their wishes may be carried out. George Collins id back in harness on the steering committee and that alone assures the complete success of the affair. Cope JT. Hanley, President of the Association, has announced the following committees: Executive —George Collins, William Babcock, Grace Norris, Rose Luers. Program—Floyd Meyers, Luella Robinson, Gwendolyn Kannal, Mamie Beaver. ~ ~ „ Arrangements — Harry McColly, Paul Healy. „ _ Finance—Leland Collins, Rosa Luers, Rex Warner, Thelma Martindale, Gaylord Long, Maurine Tuteur,' Lenore Carr, Hazel Reeve, Alice Witham, George Long, French Crooks, Mary Wagner. Refreshments —Nell Meyers, Esther Allman, Muriel Harris. Music—'Lon Healy, Elmer Wilcox. Decoration—'Paul Beam, Elizabeth Witham, Faustine West, lond Zimmerman, Herbert Hammond, Edson Murray, Delos Dean. Tickets will not be sold separately for the banquet and the dance. The price of the tickets is $2.25 per plate, which includes the annual dues for members of the Association. Tbe banquet will be held in the Armory and is to start at 6:30 promptly on Friday the 28th of May. Those desiring tickets may purchase the same from any member of the Finance Committee or at any of the drug stores* In ! order that the ladies who serve may make proper provision it is essential that tickets be obtained ait an early date.
