TRI KAPPAS GAVE DINNER FOR PLEDGES
Following the semi-monthly meeting of Tri Kappas Monday evening,} a dinner was given at the home of i Muriel Harris at which time Mrs. | Angela Kohloff and Jane Parkinson' were pledged. Thomas Tanner as representative of the Gifford lodge, Frank Mloore as representative of the lodge here and Harry Lent representative of the Brook lodge went to Indianapolis today to attend the session of the Grand Lodge of Odd Fellows. Robert Yeoman went to Indian-. apolis today. He will attend the session of the Grand Lodge of the} Independent Order of Odd Fellows as the representative from the Mt. Ayr lodge. He will attend the Indiana' democratic state convention while in the capital. Among those attending the Jud-, son E. Maines funeral here Tuesday not already mentioued by the] Republican were: Mr. and Mrs.l Charles W. Coen, of South Bend; Fred Coen, of Cleveland, Ohio; Ed-| ward' Coen, of Vermillion, Ohio; Clara Coen of Ashtabula, Ohio; Mr. Henry Boltz and son, <Louis Boltz, of Hoopeston, HI. Frank Welsh went to Indianapolis' this afternoon to attend the democratic state convention. Mesdames John I. Gwin and A. A. Hoover, who are delegates went to the eapitol city Monday. The other dele-, gates from this county are John ( P. Ryan of Gillam and Frank Fisher of Kankakee township.
