CITY COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS.
The city council met in regular session Monday evening with all members present. The session was a quiet one, little business of importance being transacted. On the petition of L. M. Muster for a sidewalk on Kannal avenue, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare resolution as *petitioned for and City Engineer instructed to prepare plans and specifications for same. In the matter of the drainage of Elm street, a motion putting in tile from Elm street east to Mckinley avenue through the property of Nelson Randle was referred to the City Engineer and the sewerage commission. • The resignation of Ellis Thomas as city marshal to take effect April 29 was accepted. City Engineer instructed to apply to the Public Service Commission for rate for electric service outside of city and for rate for heating of school house. The report of the finance committee was approved and warrants were ordered drawn for the amounts named.
