THE REV. J. H. O. SMITH KILLED IN AUTO ACCIDENT
Columbus—Word was received here Wednesday that the Rev. J. H. O. Smith, a minister of the Disciples church, and widely known throughout the country, was killed April 1 at Willis Point, Tex., when an automobile in which he was riding was struck by a train. The Rev. Mr. Smith has appeared here at the Christian church several times, and at one time was pastor of the Taylorsville church. He had filled the pulpit here a number of times and preached the sermon when the present church was dedicated.
