MONON OPERATOR AT CEDAR LAKE DROWNS

H. A. Fulmer, station operator for the Monon railroad, was drowned in Cedar Lake Thursday afternoon at 1:45 o’clock. The young man hailed from Salem and was assigned to duty at the CedaT Lake station six months ago. He was about twenty-two years of age and is survived by a widow. The young man went out on the lake in a boat and, striking rough water, the boat capsized. He could not swim and was unable to reach the boat. He sank before aid could reach him. His mother passed through Rensselaer on the early Friday morning train but the body had not been found when she arrived at the lake.
